The Objects
Every design in the Clipart Series starts with an object. Not a concept, not a feeling — a thing. Something physical, specific, and immediately recognisable to anyone who's spent time in a city.
The CCTV camera watches everyone and cares about no one. The ramen bowl is 3 AM and no plans and exactly what you needed. The cassette tape is something that only plays once — a moment, a feeling, a version of yourself that doesn't come back. The stray cat belongs nowhere and shows up anyway.
Each object is rendered in a heavy ink illustration style — flat, graphic, slightly worn. Like something you'd find stencilled on a wall in an alley you took a wrong turn into.
